Application

STA is used for textile coatings because of its high hydrophobicity.
STA is used for adhesives resin because of its low polarity.
And it is also used for seed coatings because of its temperature dependability of gas permeability.

Characteristics

Our STA is highly purified for C18 liner alkyl acrylate.
STA has very long alkyl chain moiety. Because of this structure, it has several signature properties. Mogri et al. reported that Poly(alkyl acrylate) like Poly(STA) have permeation switch property at melting point[1]. David et al. simulated and reported Comb-like structure of Poly(STA) [2]. These results are deeply concern to seed coating technology. STA is good alternative of Behenyl acrylate in this application. Jordan et al. reported signature sharp thermo dynamics properties of Poly(alkyl acrylate)s [3]. And Osada et al. reported “shape-memory” phenomena with Young’s modulus changing by STA hydrogel [4]. Many continued report are published. All of these properties are achieved by its long alkyl chain, comb-like amorphous/semi crystal phase transition.
