We provide the secret ingredients for everybody's products in the chemical departments of Osaka Organic Chemical Industry Ltd. by optimizing not only production equipment but rather the organization as a whole in order to handle limited quantities of diverse products centered on distilled acrylate, which can be applied to resin raw materials.

  • Biomass acrylates

    Biomass acrylates

    As an activity towards to the United Nations' SDGs, Osaka Organic Chemical is developing special acrylates made from biomass-derived* raw materials, which we call Biomass acrylates.

    Osaka Organic Chemical already has been offering some of the products which have more than 80% of biomass-derived carbon ratio so we can propose the product with high biomass content.

    *Biomass-derived means plant-derived raw material.

    Acrylic monomers for coating raw materials

    Our company's acrylic monomers are often refined to a high degree and apart from UV and EB uses, we have a lineup of many products that you can investigate as resin raw materials.

    Starting with raw materials for the acrylic polyol used in top coats for automobiles, our products can give high reactivity, abrasion resistance or adhesion, etc., that cannot be achieved with general purpose acrylates. Because our products are highly pure, they have merits such as low coloration, low viscosity and low acid content, etc.

    Acrylic monomers for adhesives

    Various functions such as ductility, stretch and refraction index control, etc., can be given to adhesives with various applications by using our company's acrylic monomers. Apart from normal solvent based adhesives, our products can also be used on UV-cure adhesives and anaerobic adhesives.

    In addition, like our products for coatings, they also have the merits of low coloration, low viscosity and low odor, etc.
